USEFUL TIPS
When you scan a My Little Pony Equestria Girls doll, vehicle or playset with the horseshoe symbol (sold separately) into the app:
- Hold your device in one hand and the doll, vehicle or playset in the other;
- Make sure the camera is pointing straight at the EG horseshoe symbol;
- Keep the doll steady in the middle of the screen, about 2-4 inches (5-10cm) away from the camera;
- Slowly move the doll further away until the EG horseshoe symbol is in focus;
- Be patient the first time - it gets easier with every scan!

Pros and cons of Equestria Girls app for iPhone and iPad

Equestria Girls app good for

Impressive visual quality and character customization for a free game. I know a kid who is already spending too much time in this app.

This game is really fun but it crashes A LOT. Im on the quest for Photo Finish when you need to call Rarity and once I get to the photo taking part and get to the 3rd photo my screen turns black and I return to my home screen. If you want 5 stars Hasbro, PLEASE FIX THE CRASHES!!!

This is an awesome game! But for some reason, when I finished all of the quests, it restarted them. My info stayed but the quests restarted. Is this a bug? Or is this something about the game. Oh and also my quest arrow got lost.... and I have nothing to do but run around and collect coins.

But the downfall is you need gems to call for help which it shouldnt it should cost coins and this game needs an analog control to walk not hold in a direction to move

The game was great!... Until the game restarted the quests by itself, and I think I lost the quest arrow. Anypony know how to get the quest arrow back?

Its good but after I finished a quest i had to restart all the quests all over again why cant there be more?

Some bad moments

I was so excited for this app and now its getting on my nerves. I cant click applejack and talk to her, when I try to collect apple it glitches and zooms in on the empty bag of fruit and I dont know what the hell to do and this other person on their iPad was playing the game and it crashed twice : Also I had to go in a room but it was locked said I needed to be on friendship level 6 and I was on level five and there was no other way to level up Im sure. Do the quests level up. So I had to go in a room with the same wall go against that wall and tap sunset shimmer which worked :) but now I finished that quest and the follow me arrow is gone it only appears when Im talking to someone. So many bugs! U need to fix them. I need to unlock a pair of pants!!!! And when u press the home button the app automatically restarts when u go back even if u didnt close the app

I was just loading the game and when I tapped on it, it loaded by then CRASH want five star???? Well u get 2

Crash crash crash! All the hasbro game crash!! And the bad thing is that they look so cool

The game has potential to be a great game. But as of right now no it is not good. The way everyone looks is so bad compared to the humans on the MLP village app. Why they couldnt use the sprites from the dancing game I dont know. And secondly if I want to play this game, I have to shut off my iPad then turn it on again otherwise it crashes on the loading screen every single time. Please do what you can to fix this app

having a hard time getting on the game. I have plenty of space but every time I get to the loading screen it black screens and goes back to the app screen. Please fix this soon!

Why do u have to like scan the toy thing to get (for example : twilight,AJ,Rarity.)also I wast my gems for all the quests I do!!!! Plz fix Ill give u 4-5 stars if u fix this!!!!
